so one time I watched this really good horror movie called "The Wicker Man" which is about this policeman who gets sent to a tiny isolated island community to investigate a girl's disappearance...

but things start to get really weird and disturbing once he gets there, as the villagers start worshipping this pagan deity called the wickerman and it just gets more and more surreal and terrifying the more he digs himself into this mystery. I recommend it!
