Canadian winters in Ontario are cold, wet and dark 

I absolutely love it when the sun pops through the window 
I feel the warm rays hitting my skin, giving me goosebumps because it’s also slightly chilly in my room 

But the sun feels so warm, so comforting 
I feel like I’m being hugged by mother nature when the sun starts heating up my skin 

I feel excited when I see the colours shining in the beautiful light it gives off 

And I feel more alive when I look outside and let nature in 

It can almost feel like a shock to the system. I spend more days in the dark than I do in the light, but it’s always nice to see it again ❤️
