Everyone else dies a peaceful death at 35, induced with pleasant drugs to control the population and ensure a future for the next generation. Ray however, will be kept alive till she finished 300 years in the arena, as she has been a fan favourite for over 200 years and the entertainment industry, which is incredibly powerful at this time, cannot afford losing her; Ray is the face of a thousand commercials, fashion shows, products, merch and events. Everywhere you go, you see her on giant posters or moving holograms.

The blue haired fighter specializes in putting on erotic but deadly shows, and once she's on top of her enemy she's in a zone that can't compare to anything she knows. It's the only moments Ray still feels alive and in control. She gets to chose over life and death and sometimes she finds herself caught in the thought of wishing she knew what it would be like, to slip away, like her opponents in their final breaths. Ray hasn't known privacy ever since she started at the arena, every part of her life is dissected by the drones that are constantly surrounding her. Working makes her think less, which is welcomed, even though nothing gets her head as clear as fighting in Victoria-Ki11.

There's a mark for every year next to her bed; Ray is counting the days till she's free again and fulfilled her contract.
