Today, while walking around Langkawi island as usual we decided to have dinner at a cafe we were already familiar with but it was closed and after walking a kilometer we found another one. The chef did not understand English at all and a local family having dinner at the next table, helped us establish contact in choosing soup and rice with chicken. But what was our surprise when at the end, the chef came up to us and said “They are all ready paid for you” and pointed to that family. We understood this the first time, but out of surprise we asked again 2 more times. Wow yes, this happens in Malaysia, even on a tourist island=))))
